DocuTech Print Drivers

Note - you may need your Windows® 95 Installation
CD

- CLICK
HERE to Download Xerox Files for the Print Drivers
- From
the Windows® Start Menu, select Settings.
- From
the Settings Menu, select Printers.
- Double-click
on the Add Printers icon.
- Click
on Next to start the Add Printer Wizard.
- Choose
Local Printer; click on Next, then click Have Disk.
- When
prompted, copy the files from Step 1.
- When
prompted, select the Xerox DocuTech 135 PS printer.
Then click Next.
- From
the Port list, click File, then click Next.
- Type
a name for this driver, then click Next.
- At
the Print a Test Page prompt, click No, the click
Finish.
At
this point, you may be prompted to insert a Windows®
95 diskette or CD-ROM. Insert the diskette or CD and
follow the instructions. Consult your system administrator
if you do not have access to this diskette or CD.
Configuring
Print Drivers
- Return
to the Printers window (Start>Settings>Printers).
- Right-click
on the printer you named during installation.
- Choose
Properties, then select the Fonts tab.
- Click
on Always Use True Type Fonts, then Send Fonts As,
then Outline.
- Choose
Native Format from the Send PostScript As selections.
Click OK.
- Select
the PostScript tab. Set PostScript output format
to Optimize for Portability.
- Set
PostScript header to Download header with each print
job. Click OK.
