DocuTech Print Drivers

Note - you may need your Windows® 98 Installation

From
the Windows® Start Menu, select Settings.

From
the Settings Menu, select Printers.
-
Double-click
on the Add Printers icon.
-
Click
on Next to start the Add Printer Wizard.
-
Choose
Local Printer, then Next.
-
In
the Manufacturers section, select Xerox. In the
Printers section, select the Xerox DocuTech 135
PS2 printer. Then click Next.
-
From
the Port list, click File, then click Next.
-
Type
a name for this driver, then click Next.
-
At
the Print a Test Page prompt, click No, the click
Finish.
At
this point, you may be prompted to insert a Windows®
98 CD-ROM. Insert the CD and follow the instructions.
Consult your system administrator if you do not have
access to this CD.
Configuring
Print Drivers
- Return
to the Printers window (Start>Settings>Printers).
- Right-click
on the printer you named during installation.
- Choose
Properties.
- Under
the PostScript option, set the PostScript Output
Format to Optimize for Portability.
- Under
the Fonts option, select Always Use True Type Fonts.
- Under
the Fonts option, select Send True Type Fonts As
and Bitmap.
- Close
this dialog box.
