Print Drivers

Note - you may need your Windows® NT Installation
CD
- CLICK
HERE to Download Xerox Files for Print Drivers
- From
the Windows® Start Menu, select Settings.
- From
the Settings Menu, select Printers.
- Choose
My Computer and click on Next to start the Add Printer
Wizard.
- From
the Port list, click File, then click Next.
- In
the Manufacturers section, select Xerox. In the
Printers section,
select the Xerox DocuTech 135 PS2 printer. Then
click Next.
- Type
a name for this driver, then click Next.
- At
the Print a Test Page prompt, click No, the click
Finish.
At
this point, you may be prompted to insert a Windows®
NT 4.0 CD-ROM.
Insert the CD and follow the instructions. Consult your
system administrator
if you do not have access to this CD.
Configuring
Print Drivers
- Return
to the Printers window (Start>Settings>Printers).
- Right-click
on the printer you named during installation.
- Choose
Document Defaults.
- Under
the Graphics option, set the True Type Font option
to Download as
Soft Font.
- Under
the PostScript option, set the Page independence
option to Yes.
Close this dialog box.
- In
the Printers window, right-click on the printer.
- Choose
Properties. Under Font Substitution, choose Slow
But More Accurate.
Click OK.
